    Dewy-eyes:

two long weeks left and da TEENz album crew held their supposedly last practice @ sanctuary on last sunday.

at about 12.15pm, you see them 'climbing up' from english service onto sanctuary's stage, musicians bringing their huge luggage as if preparing to go on a road trip to musician's haven, uncasing it and started tuning or whacking around.

the singers gathered together nervously and so warms up those young, or old haggy hornbags into crystal voices, making hilarious noises throughout the process. Hey, smiles around. =)

'supervisors', or album committee looking serious and watching intently, ready to scrutinize on every little detail that comes across their pricked-up ears. Like the old light tower, highly experienced and watchful, knowing when to light up, and when to lighten down, especially at the sight of youthful jumpings or victor's attempt to be funny with the drums. oh, and there's uncle koon's successful but accidental try to make the music fall with a show-stopping bang! uncle Jit is not gonna like it. heh. not big deal, not big deal..

I could see the famous Mr. Wahehe with Jesmond, hanging around, watching.. looking.. stoning.. heh heh. no la, i can't really remember.

hmm.. i wonder how will it turn out on that day of concert, on a saturday night, 7pm. PA team gonna record it on 8-tracks, i think - that means there are 8 separate links to record, for example, there is the drums, piano, backup vocalists, worship leader, keyboard, guitar, and you can take out those individual tracks for editing.

i heard that on the recording day, there might be more than 40-tracks!!

all will be songs from the album + king of majesty, open up the gates and what the world will never take.

i particularly liked the chinese slow songs, very chinese-like, meaningful lyrics, you can sing and be quiet with God..

hehe, What the World Will Never Take.. with the guitar intro, teh teh net, teh teh neh-neh..... veli the hot lah! =P

In the midst of all the speculation, anticipation; when the music ends, i bet i will hear a faint sigh of relief for a work done well for God. I guess it's not easy for a normal teenager or non-participating adult to see the work and practice & sacrifice needed in order to make it sound nicely.. All the vocal practices, even a vocal camp, not to mention the vocal audition earlier to select vocalist, musician practices, committee meetings, logistics arrangement... all for one night..

but it will be a night of lasting impact & huge difference, a night of lives coming closer to God, souls getting saved.. i believe all the unseen sweat and brain juices are not out of God's sight, may God bless them ya! =)

so, the whole thing wrapped up at 3pm, and.. i will let Mr. Wahehe finish my sentence.. =)

    Mr.Wahehe:

    .... not so fast Dewy-Eyes,

    *insert superhero introduction theme*

"teh teh net, teh teh neh-neh..... veli the hot lah!"

    -Dewy-Eyes

    The
BIG BIG Mr.Wahehe font above is to lure your attention HERE. In any case if you're scrolling down faster than reading, or even not reading at all.

One of the things that attracted me was the newly written songs by our very own FGC members. It's like how Roti Prata and Nasi Lemak have made their way to our local heritage. They all started out humble, simple and yet people are able to relate to it. Yes, if there's one thing you should anticipate for this coming concert, be it the songs and its beautiful lyrics.

It's amazing to see how God lifted the whole album team to the next level. With more songs, more passion, more talents and ideas. Well, come for the concert and see what's what.

they say, the walk-out should be similar to the walk-in.. So,

    again..

"teh teh net, teh teh neh-neh..... veli the hot lah!"

    -Dewy-Eyes

that's how I end your sentence, dewy_eyes.. heh.
