THE room!

It was 24th of February, saturday, to some it's just a normal sat to come for TEENz service, to hang out with God n friends, have fun, enjoy cell group, be young & cool, or to slip out n tour the church (hor hor!)..
but shanshine and I were ready for 6pm, i walked to H6 casually.. bypassing the anxious faces waiting outside the room, those people looked kinda familiar..

like those 1st time fathers waiting for their first born child, like primary school children who did something wrong and are sitting waiting outside the principle's office, like PMR students who are queuing up to obtain their results..
or maybe, more like the faces of contestants that I've seen in American Idol..

THE judges

so what's all the fuss about in room H6?
woah, like very geng3 wor, TEENz WMM (Wassup MuM) held a vocal audition for young people who are interested (or forced by friends, hee) to join WMM as backup singer, or to be a part of the vocal team for TEENz's 2nd Album!

all hail the brave warriors who step or drag their way through the door of audition, people like Alvin, Hannah, Sok Wei, Stella Pang, Meliza (did i spell correctly?), Wei3 Ye4, little Hui Min, summershanshine, Enoch Ang, XinXiang, Nichole, Jasmine n many other people (which my rusty brain can't recall who)..
It sounds easy but imagine facing the panel of judges alone, crazy vic shooting everywhere (tk photo), the nervousness & intensity hanging in the air.. it's pretty scary.

Singing lalalala~

They went through 'fire', pitching test & song performance.. sing to the scales of the piano, lalalalalalalalalalaaa!!!
picked up raw courage to sing the song of their choice.. and i sat there, listening to faith, listening to the brave, hearing voices that stood out to try, who never said die.
=)
of course there are some who trembled.. who closed their eyes..or even their mouth. i'll leave that for summershanshine to write ya =P

oh yeah, speaking of the judges, all i have to say is:
they are funnily serious, and seriously funny. =P

let's just say, you don't know that terence & georgee have a fun & wilder side, dancing around like nobody's business at one time, you never heard of yong thai's farny wise cracks, and sometimes Angela & fei fei's seriousness can be scary but at times cheesy. haha..

while you guys audition, or if you are the rest of the people who live in utter ignorance.. =P there was actually something else going on, just beside the audition room, H5..

Album Songs Arranger's meeting.
song arrangers are people who "arranges" song, the ones who paint the master touches of a beautiful picture, the ones who add icing, fruits n cherries on the cake; the people who determine the style & flow of songs, who do minor/major changes to the melody or lyrics of new songs, tell the musicians how to play, instruct the singers how to sing...
nice people la, eh 'mate, cheers.

It was a good experience, right, shanshine? after the audition wrapped up, the album committees had a discussion.. results will be out in a week or two. patience ya..

yeah, "extra" section put pic gallery n vids, great thinking. =) if you want, also can make simple wallpapers for people to download and put on their PC screen, 800X600, 1024X768.

oh yeah.. bug:

- when i click one of the links, can it open a new window for that link n not replace the blog page?
- anything i click from the "archives" section will bring me back to "about us" page and not "entries".

it's ok if this can't be fixed, just small prob. thks. Heppey zhu year.

summershanshine: Happy zhu year! The link thingy..I need some time to put on it. Still in holiday mood. HAHA! I was thinking to make buttons to put it as link.. it'll be cool instead of words, but need time lar. ;p The wallpaper thingy is a great idea!! I'll try to do it, but need time x2 lar. ;p x2

The archives thingy, nothing wrong with the html codes. Is either we don't want the archieve collumn or we don't want the welcome thingy. I think there's a way to link the archive thingy, but I don't know the codes. I can't fix it. Any pro knows? :(

dewy-eyes: hey, thanks for the compliment, but i doubt so, not that 'geng' until can turn into gold dust le.. working towards it.. haha. thanks for your entries too, it's like the collaboration between two radio DJs, it gets better exponentially. =)
great idea about buttons, no stress about wallpapers, it's something to be developed over time and not all done by official launch. anyway, i'm still not sure whether will there be an official launch..

oh yeah, coming sat (24 Feb) is the audition liao, after teenz service.. can bring digital camera to take pictures? including photos of us , either together or separately, as long as it's interesting.. i'm thinking of both of us writing the "welcome" section, it'll be good! goodie goodie, heh.

Part 3: Under constructions

Somehow, I still think not good enough.

dewy-eyes: wow, it's awesome, the designs are mind-blowing, so incredibly cool! i think the fonts are good enough, but blog entry content's font seem a little small here.. Tiny, Small, Normal size.. might be a little straining for eyes to read this all the time.. or maybe i'll write in this size Large? or for grandmas - size HUGE? HAHA

hey, great job!

i very 'sua ku' wan, apa tagboard ar? macam chat or comments board izzit?
don't worry about what to write on the welcome column, maybe i can ask for captions/quotes from the album committees.. hee..

summershanshine: YESH! IT'S DONE!! I think the colours abit dull? erm.. temporary like that first. I could change the template anytime right? Actually I wanted to find some pictures related to TEENZ or album & make it as the header.. So, any idea where can I get those pictures of you guys in the recording studio or what? hehe..

&& the rest collums.. need those welcome notes, about teenzalbum, pictures(or even video), etc. X)

dewy-eyes: anyway, was wondering if this blog can be more than just the album but also snippets of teenz life, church, and life.. maybe this blog can be more than we imagined. heh, just food for thought.

colours are dull when i stare at it for a long long time, but it's fine to me at the moment. of course you can change templates, want to change it every month also can, haha, up to you. recording pics, vids, i'll ask boon..

hi summershanshine, thanks for joining, i can't do this on my own. =)
